Hospitality Industry
James D. Linnan has been the attorney for various trade groups involved in the hospitality industry throughout the State of New York. He is currently state counsel for the Empire State Restaurant and Tavern Owners Association, the trade organization that represents all businesses in the hospitality industry licensed by the New York State Liquor Authority. Linnan & Fallon, LLP has worked in conjunction with the State Associations to draft legislation to help members of the hospitality industry. In addition, Linnan & Fallon, LLP has represented numerous licensees in the application process, in defending disciplinary charges brought by the State Liquor Authority and in defending liquor liability (dram shop) litigation. Mr. Linnan has lectured for the New York State Bar Association on the issues of dram shop defense.
