James D. Linnan has been the attorney for various trade groups involved in the hospitality industry throughout the State of New York. He is currently state counsel for the Empire State Restaurant and Tavern Association, the trade organization that represents all businesses licensed by the New York State Liquor Authority. Linnan & Fallon, LLP has worked in conjunction with the State Association to draft legislation to help members of this industry. In addition, Linnan & Fallon, LLP has represented numerous licensees in the application process, in defending disciplinary charges brought by the State Liquor Authority and in defending liquor liability (dram shop) litigation. Mr. Linnan has lectured for the New York State Bar Association on the issues of dram shop defense.
